Kung Hei Fat Choi

I don’t have a drop of Chinese blood in me but I guess it’s not a prerequisite to celebrate Chinese new year. For the third year now, Nanay and I went to Manila’s Chinatown to buy tikoy and hopia, watch dragon dancers, and look at the colorful fruit decorations. I still have my eyes on a Chinese porcelain doll but there are more important things that I have to put my money on at the moment.

I was born in the Year of the Dragon,  which makes me lucky according to a feng shui expert.  I see no harm in believing in luck but I also believe in hard work and determination. Kung Hei Fat Choi everyone!
